Voice is air. The most important technical element in singing is freely and economicly flowing air, which we control with our breathing techniques.

Anu Hälvä

Anu Hälvä has graduated as opera singer from the Sibelius-Academy Opera Department, and completed her vocal studies (classical singing and opera) in London. She’s been taught eg. by Anita Välkki, Vera Rosza, Tom Krause and Junewyn Jones. She has also completed her studies on vocal pedagogy in Sibelius-Academy, with excellent grades. She has a wide range and repertoire as singer, and she is also an accomplished actress. This gives her the advantage of teaching singing far beyond the vocal techniques solely – she can also train her students to act and be on the stage.

She teaches also in fluent English.
